Okay, that wasn't a question, but it could have been. It could have said, Why do the story pieces seem so much funnier when collected into a book?
It could have said, How did you manage to get this book out in three months, when other publishers take two years to put out a book, and their books aren't even funny?
It could have said, Hey, how come you spelled my name wrong?

*grin* Well done, EE. Thank you for all your hard work.
I didn't get my copies yet. But I'm looking forward to it, EE. Get that assistant going!
I got mine today-- a nice surprise at the end of a dull Monday at the office.
Thanks, EE!
I got mine today too. I'm number one...not really sure how I feel about it either.

It's lovely. I'm thrilled. (Even though I didn't, um, contribute any).
Wow! I hope lots of copies sell and you all become (in)famous
I couldn't tell who wrote what because all the blogger names were changed! LOL.
I don't know if the book will sell, but I hope it does enough so that you can do a second edition, EE.
I'm still waiting for The Adventures of Amelia Pettipants, though!
Thanks for that big thank you, Evil Editor. And, I noticed you edited my beginnings a little more than I'd thought, but heh, whatever. I'm cool with it.
All right, so how did you get them printed so fast? Why are they so funny all in one book?
P.S.: Everybody please visit my newly updated website.

Damn, I can hardly wait to get my copy! :-) I checked my last credit card statement and smiled when I saw the CCNOWEvEdtr thingy.
Now I have to remember if I'm having it sent here to where I work or home. Here isn't a problem; home...well, I probably won't get to see it (hopefully) until Saturday, because the damned post office window doesn't open until 8:00, when I've already gone off to work.
Just knowing it's on it's way/at the post office actually makes me feel a bit less stressed. Really.

Where's mine? I ordered it...umm...eight days ago! Oh well, the mailchick brought me a big honkin' book on Tutankhamun, so I guess I'll just read that.
I just got my first package of books! WOW! I love them! I'll be pushing them at a book talk tonight even!
EE - they are superb - I am laughing out loud!!!
I still didn't get my books. I got my MP3 player, my posters, and my marketing book. I also got the neighbor's "Contractor II" Gun and Hose Kit. But no Novel Deviations.
I'm sad.
If it makes you feel better, judy, I got two yesterday and I only ordered one. -JTC
Just kidding.
Got mine today :) (wed 6/12)
and it was a very nice surprise indeed (I thought it would take longer to cross the ocean)
I'm going to enjoy reading it.
Thank you for all the work EE!!!!
Yea! I got mine! I have two thoughts:
1) EE did not change much of my prose. Does that mean I don't totally suck?
and
2) Should I worry that my only publishing credit is in an anthology that kinda makes fun of me?
