Success Stories

Maggie Stiefvater reports that she has sold a YA book, due out Sept '08. Not the book whose query appeared here (Face-Lift 294) and no title given.

Bernita reports that her story "Stone Child" will appear in Weirdly: A Collection of Strange Stories, due to be released by Wild Child Publishing on Sept 18.

Evil Editor reports that we're running low on queries again.

Congratulations. Keep us updated on the new title and publication date. Some of us have YA's running around that devour reading material.

This is very kind of you, EE. Thank you. And thank you, people - and especially Church Lady - for your good wishes. They are much appreciated.

Who is "EE"? Will the reader know this person?

Thank you.

"I thank you," would be more correct.

And thank you, people - and especially Church Lady - for your good wishes. They are much appreciated.

Who are "people". Again, you disconnect yourself from your readers. And does "They" refer to the well-wishers or their good wishes?

I think you can see now why I'm unpublished and you're not. Wait...this didn't come out right.

Great news, Maggie and Bernita.

Gives the rest of us minions hope that we, too, will be able to announce a similar success.

It should, Anon 10:46. If I can manage it, so can everyone else!

However inadequate my thank you, Wouldbe, it was sincerely meant.
