The Time Has Come
My plan is to order the printing of 50 copies of this book. The cover price is $10.95, $1.00 of which goes to the company that processes your credit card or Paypal account. In order to make sure 50 copies is plenty (because it's cheaper to order more copies up front if I'll eventually need them) I'm posting this opportunity to pre-order it. You don't have to pre-order, but it will help me prepare for the possibility the book will be a NY Times bestseller. (If there are any other items in the Evil Editor Store you want, ordering at the same time saves on shipping.) If you want to know what's in the book, click here to watch the book trailer.

That book trailer is WONDERFUL! This is a bestseller for sure.
How could I not buy a copy.
Or two.
Will there be accompanying mugs?
One wonders why you do not use CreateSpace, which would make it available on Amazon and eliminate the hassle of storage & mailing.
Do you write to Random House and ask why they don't use Create Space to save the hassle of running their business?
First of all, it is no harder for Evil Editor to get his books onto Amazon than it is for Create Space. In fact it's easier, as I already have numerous books there, (including three EE books) and wouldn't have to go through the hassle of giving out my information.
If you'll visit Amazon you'll find Novel Deviations 1 and 2 as well as Why You Don't Get Published 1 there. The reason I haven't put the last couple books there is because I noticed that everyone who orders the EE books that ARE available on Amazon does so through my own site.
Then there's the fact that printing in quantity lowers the price per book.
The hassle of storage and mailing? The books are shipped to Evil Jr., who is happy to fill my orders in return for having been provided an education that overqualifies him for this task. So far he hasn't complained that it's a hassle to put a book in an envelope and mail it, but if orders start coming in by the hundreds that may change.
Create Space, like Lulu and even PublishAmerica fills a need for some, but I don't see that there's an iota of advantage to it for Evil Editor Publications.
If you are intent on getting the book, but only from Amazon, I'll put it there. It's no hassle. Obviously you won't get it as fast, as they will need it shipped to them before they can ship it to you. Let me know.
I think I'll be getting this. Any chance at a signed copy?
Also, I haven't looked but are there any EE eBooks?
Those who would like a signed copy, there's a place in the ordering process to give special instructions, or if it's too late for that, just send a comment or email. The signature will be Evil Editor, of course.
I looked into converting books to Kindle on the Amazon site, but it seems to require formatting of a sort that I consider work. Besides, I can't sign an ebook.
One can already read the content electronically on a computer, iPad, iPhone, Kindle, even, by...uh...going to the blog.
I want a book, dammit, a book! Perfect bound pages professionally presented. That's what I want!
Calm down RIL. The doctor will be there soon with the funky white jacket.
;)
nice fish
Yes, exquisite fish.
I'm not in this book by any chance, am I?
You COULD have been in it if you'd responded to the request for the names of those who would purchase the book if they were in it.
No, fortunately, as there were very few requests. Actually, it wasn't so much an attempt to sell a few extra copies as to assuage any guilt feelings I might later develop for not including everyone who submitted writing exercises. Didn't work.
Signature? bah, too impersonal... Could I have a book with EE's coffee stains on it? :O and possibly some ketchup smears.
I'm with ril. I want a book. PAPER. To touch and turn the pages. And to have signed!
Received my copy in the mail today - it was fun to get another EE book for my collection. Looks like Phoenix and ril and Whirl are the favorites. Hmmph!
Hey there must be 250 people who weren't included, and you're complaining because you weren't included MORE?
Ha! Fussin' together, just like the old days. Love it!
