I made a comment about the Tour De France bicycle race a couple weeks back. Tomorrow, Saturday is the next to last stage with the final climb being Mount Ventoux, a 20 kilometer uphill ride that rises nearly 2000 meters to the very top of the mountain with no respite. The gradient is between 8 and 10 percent and will decided who wins the entire race. Everything else in the Tour was prelude to this mountain.
