Writing Exercise
The trouble with this blog is that it has no advertising. A universally known face like that of Evil Editor could sell any product or service. (Also, the day on which we did our previous graphic exercise, with book covers and movie posters, got more hits than any other day in months.) So, create a print ad involving Evil Editor selling or promoting or endorsing something. If you don't have the tools, write the ad copy and let me know what you envision on the page graphically. Together we'll come up with something. Deadline: Saturday at midnight eastern. Do as many as you like. Don't submit anonymously if you want credit.

Is that a Redskins uniform?
This could be loads of fun!!! Thanks for giving us plenty of time!
:-)
Now if I can just think of something funny...
Can we have a blank of the original EE pic?
Sure. Not knowing how original you mean, I've posted three here.
I went over to look at the EE jpgs, and found myself looking at The Map.
I'm laughing all over again!
Wow. Thanks!
hmmm, my brain is kind of fried, but this is too much fun to pass up.
I thought WhEEties was the Breakfast of Chumps, not Champs.
What's you file size limit?
I have no idea. I just reduce the ones that are so big I can't see them.

Actually, Tal, I think EE's version says Chimps :o)
What's you file size limit?
Blogger can easily size anything, but an original of less than 500 x 500 pixels works well to keep file size small and download time for the page manageable. My jpgs at that size are about 40-50K, which is reasonable. EE's jpg cartoons run about 50K. Other file formats are sharper -- Blogger also accepts png and bmp -- but my 50K jpgs jump to 300-400K in those formats, so consider sacrificing a little quality for speed. Users will be glad you did!

If anyone needs free photo manipulator software, I think this is the best one for simpleness and size...
It is far easier than photoshop and does a whole heck of a lot of stuff...
And it is free...
Scott, I wish I had an ounce of technical skill. I would try that out.
