Surely there's a job opening at the Colbert Report or The Daily Show.

As for 'Guess the Plot', I've been known to submit as my whimsy takes me. Trouble is, my memory is so bad that when I see my (sometimes cunningly edited) entries again in the ensuing weeks, I don't get an initial glow of glee but rather a moment of utter confusion (That plot seems familiar; have I read this blog already today?).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26791026.post-1152883337945104052006-07-14T09:22:00.000-04:002006-07-14T09:22:00.000-04:00I only submit fake plots while I am at work. He's also edited a few of mine and added better twists than I imagined. And I too write them for the practice. What fun.

And yes it's a tad disappointing when something I've submitted isn't chosen, but I love reading the ones posted. Usually there's something close to what I'd hit upon (so mine wasn't so original-phooey!). Keep trying.

If you don't do funny, try drama. Or romance. Or fantasy. Or mystery. Or any other genre that seems to fit your idea of the title.

Now, off to check the outstanding titles list to write more fake plots!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26791026.post-1152844138122590502006-07-13T22:28:00.000-04:002006-07-13T22:28:00.000-04:00re: Anonymous said... The fun comes from the creation of the submissions not the success ratio.
