Success Story


Hi, Evil!

I just wanted to drop you a line to inform you that I received an email this morning from Wild Rose Press offering a contract for my first novel, The Space Between. After your assistance with the query letter, I finally attracted the attention of a very nice editor who expressed her enthusiasm for the book.

The Space Between had been set aside in favour of my second novel (remember Bad Ice?) but I had decided to dig it out from under the bed, dust it off and send it to small publishers instead of agents. I guess it was a good decision.

Many thanks for your support, and also that of the many Minions. Maybe now you'll find out how Margaret and David got on that island! And there's a snake in it! And a shark! But no Zamboni in this one (the minions will know what I mean...).

    Chumplet, did you need to change the novel at all from feedback here, or just the query? Also, did it sell as a romance or some other genre?
